The Department of Botany, Deogiri College was established in 1960 and at present offers the following courses:
- Ph. D. in Botany
- M. Sc.- Botany with specialization Biodiversity
- B. Sc. with Botany, Biodiversity as the specialization subject for the final year.
- Certificate Course for students from any stream for Bio fertilizer course.
Besides the teaching-learning process, the staff members of the Botany department are very much engaged in administration and research. The department motivates and ignites the minds of students through several co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities for students such as:-
